A showcase & notepad for my photography exploring the relationship between nature & society.

The influence on our lives & the contrast between the natural & the cultivated is truly inspirational. And so, with my trusty camera I enjoy capturing images that evoke through the natural light, textures, materials, forms, perspectives, shapes, & colours found all around us.

  5. Soul Obelisk Arnos Vale is full of character! Shortly after I’d been spooked by a pair of trainers poking out from underneath a holly bush, I glanced up at the evening glow that radiated beautifully on a towering obelisk. The contrast of the shimmering bark from trees that have sprouted in the cemetery over the decades made think ‘Yup, that’s Nature Versus’ :-) Taken at Arnos Vale Cemetery in Bristol, April 2013 I’m also on  Facebook  Twitter  RedBubble  Flickr
